Washington Wealth Management Adds Advisers

Morrie Symson and David Mizrahi joined independent hybrid registered investment adviser (RIA) firm Washington Wealth Management (WWM).

The pair brings about $150 million in assets under management to WWM. Both Symson and Mizrahi are former wirehouse advisers and both have decades of financial services experience.

Based in San Diego, WWM operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of independent broker/dealer NFP Advisor Services. The firm specializes in supporting advisers with a wirehouse background as they develop independent practices and build equity in their businesses. The addition of Symson and Mizrahi comes shortly after WWM’s acquisition by NFP (see “NFP Acquires Wealth Management Firm”).

Symson worked most recently with UBS. She joins WWM’s Pacific Point Asset Management business.

Mizrahi, formerly of Wells Fargo Advisers, has opened his own practice in partnership with WWM, called First Point Financial Management. Mary Abundo, who previously served as a practice management consultant with Cetera Financial Group, has joined Mizrahi’s practice.

Both advisers are based in Woodland Hills, California. More information is available at www.nfp.com.
