TRA Partners with RLC on Adviser Support Suite
The alliance will allow advisers to have an ‘end-to-end’ process for retirement advice and design solutions.
The Retirement Advantage Inc. (TRA) and the Retirement Learning Center (RLC) have entered into a partnership aimed at enhancing financial adviser preparedness and providing assistance in delivering solutions.
Jeff Schreiber, TRA’s vice president of distribution, says he believes the alliance will be a differentiator among other partnerships. “The TRA/RLC alliance is an exciting combination,” he says. “RLC believes in the value of one-on-one consulting and educational programs that are both practical and actionable, rather than merely theoretical. RLC offers a series of webinars and workshops designed specifically for financial professionals covering a broad range of topics, from sales and distribution strategies to advanced plan design techniques. TRA’s understanding of complex plan consultation, design, compliance and administration is very complimentary to how the RLC team operates.”
“Both firms have a long history of providing advisers and their clients with independent, third-party expertise to help them navigate and resolve their retirement plan needs, often including complex and innovative plan designs,” notes John Carl, president of RLC. “Partnering with TRA to deliver unparalleled service to our clients will allow us to provide the very best in programs and strategies. This will allow us to continue to design and deliver the next generation of continuing education (CE) services and plan design assistance tailored to financial professionals and those they serve. Together, working as one team, we will enable our advisers to reach their full potential and place our joint clients on the best path for success.”
Matt Schoneman, president of TRA, says, “RLC’s solutions create a distinct opportunity for us to create the type of winning partnership we believe has been highly desired. The adviser will benefit by engaging with both sponsors and participants in a more precise and personal way. The plan sponsor will be able to provide a better enrollment experience for their employees and give them the opportunity to create a more successful retirement savings path. Advisers who partner with TRA will then have an end-to-end process for retirement advice and design solutions. It is a win for everybody.”
