TRA Introduces Premier Advisor Group Program
TRA partners with plan advisers on third-party administration, consultation and compliance assistance for retirement plans at small, privately held businesses. The Premier Adviser Group program is designed to recognize the significant contributions financial advisers make to TRA’s business, says Matt Schoneman, the firm’s president.
Adviser partners must qualify for the program to receive the additional services and discounts, Schoneman tells PLANADVISER. To pass the initial hurdle for enrollment advisers must serve at least 10 active plans to which TRA provides administration services. Advisory firms can also qualify by winning two or more plans per quarter in collaboration with TRA.
Once enrolled in the Premier Advisor Group program, advisers are given a single point of contact to help leverage the relationship with TRA. The adviser gains access to dedicated onboarding specialists to help facilitate client prospecting and plan transitions, Schoneman explains, as well as expanded access to marketing resources and business development assistance.
TRA will also provide qualifying advisers’ plan sponsor clients with 3(16) plan administration services at a 50% discount, Schoneman says.
“We will also provide qualifying advisers with complementary tools and other items,” he adds. “Our top advisers will gain access to advanced plan health reporting and assessment resources. The program is designed as a holistic solution for advisers and their sponsor clients.”
