Towers Watson Names Investment Head

Professional services and consulting company Towers Watson named Chris Ford as global head of the firm’s investment business.

Ford succeeds Carl Hess, who has held the position since July 2008 and is now assuming the role of managing director of the firm’s Americas region.

“Chris is an extremely talented individual who is very well placed to succeed Carl and to continue building a strong global business,” says Tricia Guinn, managing director of risk and financial services for Towers Watson, based in New York. “He has proven himself to be very capable, both strategically and operationally, at propelling the business forward, and delivering strong growth and excellent results for our clients.”
