The Principal Releases Disclosure Help for Sponsors
The Principal Financial Group has launched its "Your
Services" program, designed to help retirement plan sponsors manage their
fiduciary obligations.
Reported by PLANADVISER staff
The “Your Services” feature aims to help plan sponsors better understand services they receive as clients of The Principal so they can meet the requirements set by the upcoming fee disclosure regulations from the Department of Labor.
The program offers plan sponsors:
- A macro view of the plan sponsor’s retirement plan services from The Principal
- Descriptions of each service and whether or not the service is active
- A customized printable summary of services report
“The new Your Services web feature from The Principal is a great way to help plan sponsors get the most out of their retirement plans,” said Monica Kirgan, vice president of retirement and investor services at The Principal. “It gives them an at-a-glance view of their plan services from The Principal, and it lets them see other available services that may benefit their plan.”
