The Hartford Expands DCIO Sales Force
The Hartford said it has expanded its team of sales consultants who serve the investment needs of defined contribution plans "as part of a broader strategy to continue growing its assets under management for retirement plans.”

The Hartford’s Defined Contribution Investment Only (DCIO) group now has eight consultants supporting the retail and institutional retirement plan markets, adding three new consultants to provide more coverage nationwide. The unit supports sales of The Hartford Mutual Funds and fixed annuities to sponsors of defined contribution retirement plans that separate their investment and recordkeeping services within the 401(k) corporate, 457 government, and 403(b) educational markets.
