PLANADVISER Adviser Value Survey
Plans with advisers receive value beyond advice.

METHODOLOGY
From August through October 2022, 2,830 defined contribution plan sponsors completed our 2022 PLANSPONSOR Defined Contribution Survey. Among over 100 questions pertaining to respondents’ satisfaction with DC plan providers, plan design, plan monitoring/oversight, fees, etc., the survey asked about contributions an adviser might have made to the plan. Responses indicated whether or not the use of an adviser, and, if so, which type—e.g., fiduciary or non-—influenced the plan’s offerings, services and best practices.
