Methodology
PLANADVISER’s second annual survey of DCIO providers was conducted in June and July.
Using a list of the largest mutual fund managers by assets, supplied by Strategic Insight, an email link to the survey questionnaire was sent to approximately 125 DCIO providers directly, and others were invited to participate via a link in the PLANADVISERdash daily newsletter. This list is for reference only and is not comprehensive of the entire DCIO industry, as some major providers chose not to participate. We expect to expand this survey, both in the online version on planadviser.com immediately and in future editions.
