SSgA Appoints Head of ETFs, Asia Pacific
State Street Global Advisors (SSgA), the investment management arm of State Street Corporation, announced the appointment of Frank
Henze as head of exchange-traded funds, Asia
Pacific.

The newly created role will based in Hong Kong. Henze has oversight of SSgA’s regional ETF expansion strategy, with a focus on increasing the size and visibility of SSgA’s range of SPDR ETFs in Asia Pacific. He reports to Bernard Reilly, head of SSgA’s business in Asia Pacific and James Ross, senior managing director and global head of Exchange Traded Funds at State Street Global Advisors.
According to the announcement, Henze joins SSgA from HSBC, where he was responsible for Global ETF Product Development. Prior to this, he spent five years with iShares in Europe, where he last served as European head of Product Development.
