Prudential Appoints Senior VP

Prudential Retirement appointed Joan Bozek as senior vice president of investment products.

As head of investment products, Bozek is responsible for Prudential Retirement’s proprietary and sub-advised fixed income, equity, balanced and asset allocation funds. She will also lead Prudential’s Due Diligence Advisor (DDA) process – the business unit’s quantitative and qualitative approach to selecting, monitoring and, if necessary, replacing sub-advised investment managers.

Bozek will report to Jamie Kalamarides, senior vice president of institutional investment solutions.

Bozek and her team are also responsible for Prudential’s proprietary retirement investment offerings, including Prudential’s EasyPath, RetirementGoal, Alliance, Discovery, Medley and client accommodation separate funds.

Bozek will support the distribution of these products through Prudential’s Total Retirement Solutions line of business to its full-service sponsors, their advisers and participants, and will explore expanding distribution to third-party channels through strategic relationships.

Before assuming this role, Bozek served as vice president of defined benefit product, service and operations. Prior to joining Prudential, she served as the chief investment officer for The Merrill Lynch Retirement Group with responsibility for defined benefit and defined contribution plan investments. She was also the chief risk officer and head of investment product for Merrill Lynch Trust Company, where she pioneered the Trust Company’s open architecture investment platform.

Neuberger Berman Appoints Vice President

Neuberger Berman Group LLC appointed Brian Saltzman as a wealth adviser and vice president in the firm's New York City office.

Saltzman will focus on addressing a range of investment, tax and estate planning needs for high-net-worth individuals. The high-net-worth team provides investment management, financial planningand multi-generational trust and philanthropic planning services. 

Saltzman reports to Kenneth G. Rende, head of Neuberger Berman Wealth Management.

Before joining Neuberger Berman, Saltzman spent three years as a financial adviser for AllianceBernstein, advising individuals and institutions. Previously, he served nearly seven years as a sales performance and relationship management consultant at Huthwaite Inc., coaching and developing sales leaders for Fortune 500 companies. Saltzman was also a vice president of sales and marketing for FlexMind.com, a human resource outsourcing firm, and held a variety of sales strategy and sales leadership positions at American Express.

Saltzman is a graduate of the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
