Financial services firm Edward Jones has reached a distribution agreement with Prudential Financial to offer its clients variable annuities and individual life insurance from Prudential companies.

Edward Jones advisers will also have access to Prudential’s life insurance products to offer to clients.
The recent economic turmoil has caused an increasing number of Edward Jones’ 12,000 plus financial advisers to add variable annuity options to their collection of retirement solutions to protect the income of the company’s seven million clients.
“The innovative risk management feature of our products, combined with Prudential Annuities’ quality investment platform and award-winning service, will provide Edward Jones’ financial advisers with the solutions they need to deliver retirement income to their clients,” said Bruce Ferris, senior vice president of Sales and Distribution for Prudential Annuities.
