Provider Taps Nell as East Coast Service Head
Pen-Cal, a San Francisco-based plan provider, has turned to Stephen C. Nell as its East Coast managing director.

A news release said Nell is now responsible for maintenance and expansion of Pen-Cal’s East Coast business.
Prior to joining Pen-Cal, he was employed at Smith Barney, where he served as national sales manager for executive benefits services and worked with institutional clients to develop nonqualified deferred compensation programs and related funding strategies.
Pen-Cal offers services for the design, implementation, and administration of employee and executive benefit plans.
