Intercare Acquires SFG Benefits Financial

SFG Benefits Financial, a provider of employer 401(k) and deferred compensation planning services, will contribute approximately 90 clients and over $100 million in retirement plan assets to Intercare. SFG’s founder and CEO, Bret Dudl, will lead Intercare’s new dedicated retirement planning group.

Through the acquisition, Intercare now offers the full range of retirement plan and planning services, the firm said, including: fund administration that includes online tools and services, one-on-one education, a comprehensive fiduciary monitoring process, and comparison of service providers as required by the Department of Labor delivered through advisers.
