Focus Financial Partners Adds Advisers
Englebert and Reitz both come to BWC as advisers from Morgan Stanley and are based in BWC’s new Allentown, Pennsylvania satellite office.
The firm has established nearly $2 billion in assets under management since its launch two years ago as part of a Focus-led program aimed at helping wirehouse teams transform into independent advisory firms, according to a BWC statement.
“There is a natural synergy between our investment philosophies and client base as both practices have a long history in serving institutional and private clients,” says John Beirne, founding partner of BWC. “Through the ongoing support and counsel of Focus, we have been able to expand our presence on the eastern seaboard and look forward to continue adding national talent in the years ahead.”
Elizabeth Garnto and Jamie Englebert will also join BWC from Morgan Stanley, where they will continue to provide consulting services on both defined benefit and defined contribution plans, as well as on public pensions, financial education, tax and estate planning issues.
The new Allentown satellite office is the third location that BWC has opened in two years, the firm says. Other locations include a Miami office and the firm’s headquarters in Connecticut. The firm has expanded from seven to 19 employees and grown to eight financial advisors since 2012.
