Commonfund Appoints Director of Consultant Relations

Commonfund, an investment manager for institutional investors, Tuesday announced the appointment of Wagenbach as director of consultant relations. He will be based in Wilton, Connecticut, and report to Lou Ann Dolan, managing director and group head of consultant relations.

“As asset pools of all types embrace an increasingly complex array of alternatives, it’s vital that we expand our resources to work closely with institutional consultants as well as the family office and registered investment adviser community,” Dolan said. 

Since 2008, Wagenbach has managed both consulting and intermediary relationships for Schroder Investment Management. His experience includes four years with Investment Solutions Inc. and nearly five years with BARRA RogersCasey, a predecessor firm to Segal Rogerscasey.  Wagenbach began his career in corporate lending with Chase Manhattan Bank.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Lafayette College. Wagenbach is a board trustee and the treasurer, as well as the former chair, of the finance committee for the Fairfield (Connecticut) Museum and History Center.
