Fiduciary Definition Comment Period Set to Close April 12

Federal regulators announced that the deadline for public comment about whether the term “fiduciary” should be expanded has been set for April 12, 2011.

The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) previously announced that comment period would close 15 days after it posted the transcripts of the March 1-2 fact-gathering sessions online (see “EBSA Extends Comment Period for Fiduciary Definition Change“).
