NFP Hires Head of Advisory & Investment Services

Whisnant will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, talent management, packaging and sales of all fee-based and packaged product solutions for Advisory and Investment Services. She will report directly to James L. Poer, president of NFP Advisor Services Group and NFP Securities, Inc.   

Prior to joining NFP, Whisnant was vice president of advisory and brokerage consulting for LPL Financial, where she was responsible for developing investment product and platform-specific sales strategies for advisory, brokerage, high net worth, and retirement plan sales growth.  She has also worked for Sun Trust Banks, where she managed the advisory and fee-based brokerage product lines distributed through SunTrust Securities, LLC, and Banc of America & Affiliated Entities.

Whisnant has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
