Cervantes joins Prime Capital Financial; Corebridge Financial welcomes Klane as general counsel; Gallagher adds Helgens as retirement plan consultant.
Cervantes Joins Prime Capital Financial
Prime Capital Financial announced the addition of John Cervantes to the Crossvault Capital Management team, based in San Antonio, Texas. With nearly two decades of experience in financial planning and investment management, Cervantes will enhance Prime Capital Financial’s capabilities and client service.
Cervantes joins as a partner and senior investment adviser, most recently serving as executive director and investment adviser at Texas Capital Bank, where he provided tailored wealth management solutions.
He also spent almost a decade at Merrill Lynch as a senior investment manager and previously held roles as a financial adviser at USAA and as a personal banker at JPMorganChase.
“John’s in-depth knowledge and dedication to serving clients make him an invaluable addition to our team,” Glenn Spencer, CEO of Prime Capital Financial, said in a statement. “We are confident his contributions will enhance our presence and services in the San Antonio market.”
Corebridge Financial Welcomes Klane as General Counsel
Corebridge Financial Inc. announced that Polly Klane will join the company as general counsel in February. Reporting to CEO Kevin Hogan, Klane will oversee Corebridge’s legal, compliance, regulatory, corporate secretary and government affairs functions.
She will also serve as a member of the company’s executive leadership team. Klane will assume responsibilities from Christine Nixon, who announced her retirement last year after more than 30 years of dedicated service to the company. Nixon will continue with Corebridge through the first quarter to ensure a smooth transition.

Klane has served as a critical business partner to the boards and senior management teams of major publicly traded finance and technology-focused organizations. Most recently, she was general counsel and chief legal officer of Citizens Financial Group. She also held senior legal roles at Capital One and Fannie Mae and worked in private practice.
Gallagher Adds Helgens as Retirement Plan Consultant
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the addition of JP Helgens as a retirement plan consultant. Helgens brings expertise in plan design, fiduciary mitigation, fee analysis and participant engagement.
Previously, Helgens served as regional sales director at OneAmerica Retirement Services, where he partnered with financial advisers in the bank channel to help grow their retirement plan practices.
Before that, he was an internal consultant at BMO Global Asset Management, where he delivered investment solutions to advisers and consultants.
Helgens also worked as an internal sales consultant at Transamerica Retirement Solutions, managing adviser relationships across Ohio alongside two external wholesalers.
