Orinda Rolls Out Macro Opportunities Fund
Orinda
Asset Management LLC launched the Orinda SkyView Macro Opportunities Fund, an
institutional multi-manager mutual fund.
Reported by Kristen Heinzinger
The fund aims to provide investors with:
- Portfolio diversification to major market indices and traditional investment opportunities;
- Potential to generate positive returns across market cycles;
- Access to a multi-manager mutual fund including daily liquidity, transparency, 1099 reporting and investment minimums; and
- A fee structure without embedded performance incentive fees.
“In order to effectively diversify client portfolios, advisers are seeking access to strategies that have the ability to generate competitive returns across market cycles, with the potential for low correlation to traditional equity and fixed-income indices,” said Lawrence Epstein, Orinda’s chief investment officer, said.
SkyView Investment Advisors LLC will be lead subadviser to the fund, to assist with manager selection, portfolio construction and risk management.
