Options Site Adds Tool to Find Advisers
The Web site myStockOptions.com can serve as a resource for advisers seeking clients with stock compensation and referrals from other professionals.
The site now offers an online directory called AdvisorFind to connect stock grant holders with the financial, tax, or legal advisers they need, according to a news release. Users can search for advisers by geographical area, type of adviser, years of experience, minimum portfolio size, and other criteria. The Web site also provides resources for performing background checks on advisers.
In their profiles, advisers can present their credentials and experience, explain their approach, link to their own Web site, and upload a headshot. Three profile levels cater to differing budgets: Basic, Enhanced, and Elite.
Once they have signed up, advisers can craft their profiles to communicate expertise to the potential clients who visit myStockOptions.com every day; attract highly qualified leads; target client pitch by portfolio size, location, and specialty; and identify themselves to referring professionals, according to the release.
