New State Street ETF Family Tracks Stocks Outside the US

The investment arm of State Street Corporation launched today an exchange-traded fund family that tracks developed and emerging market stocks outside the U.S.

The SPDR MSCI ACWI (All Country World Index) ex-U.S. ETF benchmark is the MSCI All Country World ex-USA Index, which includes developed and emerging markets stocks outside the U.S.

State Street recently also launched a series of international ETF offerings, including the SPDR DJ Wilshire International Real Estate ETF on the American Stock Exchange.

“This new ETF complements our diverse offering of international ETFs, which span developed and emerging economies, by providing the most comprehensive international equity exposure available in a single trade,” said James Ross, senior managing director of State Street
Global Advisors, in the release. “In fact, investors can cover the entire spectrum of global equity markets by combining CWI with our SPDR DJ Wilshire Total Market ETF.”
