New Site Helps Young Investors Manage Finances

GenXpense.com, an interactive Web site offering important tools young adults need to skillfully manage their finances, has been introduced.

Geared toward the teen and twentysomething audience, GenXpense.com educates users about the latest financial issues through video streaming technology. According to a press release, a series of videos featuring people ages 16 to 34 in dialogue with leaders having various financial expertise appears the moment users access the site, and each video tackles important topics such as saving, investing, student loans, taxes, insurance, and retirement. The site is advertiser-supported.

“We’re showing them that as our users grow, so will their financial product needs. GenXpense.com will recommend products to users based on criteria they input on the site. We’re developing technology so advertisers can track users’ financial development and see if they require new financial products,” said Matt Cimaglia, president and CEO of GenXpense, Inc., in the release.
