National Investment Managers Snaps Up Alaskan TPA

National Investment Managers Inc. closed on the acquisition of Alaska Pension Services, Ltd. (APS).

APS is a third-party administration (TPA) firm providing retirement planning services to small businesses, non-profit entities, Alaska Native Corporations, and their associates, according to a press release. Steven Ross, CEO of National Investment Managers, said in the release that the acquisition provides the firm with the dominant market share in the state of Alaska and expands its presence in the Northwest.

Ross added: “[APS’] principals, Karen Jordan and Duane Mayer, are nationally recognized experts in the retirement industry, and will enhance our industry leading capabilities in retirement plan design and consulting.”
