Mutual of Omaha Launches Calculator to Help 401(k) Participants Achieve Goals
The tool allows financial advisers to view participant retirement visions and help with calculations that can be used to set retirement savings objectives.
Mutual of Omaha Retirement Services launched Calculate Retirement Right, a tool that gives 401(k) participants the ability to calculate the retirement visions they imagine for themselves during Mutual’s Imagine Retirement Right enrollment workshops.
The tool allows financial advisers to view participant visions and help with calculations that can be used to set retirement savings goals.
“We launched Imagine Retirement Right two-years ago and in doing so, we’ve seen significant increases in engagement and participation through employer-sponsored retirement plans,” says John Corrieri, vice president of 401(k) at Mutual of Omaha. “The calculation tool gives advisers a unique opportunity to work alongside participants and help them achieve their overall retirement visions.”
Mutual of Omaha Retirement Services added two new regional sales directors and one relationship manager to its growing team. Joshua Rapp was hired January 2, as the regional sales director, covering Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. Prior to joining Mutual, Rapp was an external wholesaler with The Retirement Advantage.
Kevin Fillers was also hired on January 2, as the regional sales director, covering Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. Prior to joining Mutual, Fillers was a senior financial adviser at Merrill Lynch.
Cynthia Quinones was hired January 29, as a field relationship manager covering Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Kansas. Prior to joining Mutual, Quinones was a communication consultant for Charles Schwab.
“We’re focused on hiring additional regional sales directors and internal wholesalers to expand our presence in the 401(k) market,” says Patrick Bello, national sales director for Mutual’s 401(k) product. “The knowledge and experience these individuals bring, paired with our unique services; 3(16) Admin Advantage and Imagine Retirement Right, bring unparalleled value to our clients.”
