MFS Institutional Advisors Announces Management Appointments

Christopher Callahan has been named director of North American Sales and Relationship Management for MFS Institutional Advisors, Inc. (MFSI).

Callahan joined MFS in 2003, most recently served as a vice president of Institutional Sales for MFSI, and has held senior institutional sales roles at State Street Global Advisors, GMO, and PanAgora Asset Management.

“This is a new role that brings together what previously had been two distinct groups for sales and relationship management,” said Carol Geremia, president of MFSI, in a company announcement. “We feel this new combined structure formalizes the high degree of connectivity that already exists between the two groups and believe it will continue to provide the highest level of service to our existing clients.”

The announcement also said MFSI’s Consultant Relations group will now report to Betsy Palmer, director of Global Institutional Product Management and Marketing.

“The realignment of Consultant Relations under Betsy reflects the growing need for in-depth product and investment expertise in serving the consultant community,” said Geremia.
