MetLife Works with Wilshire on Annuity Product

MetLife Advisers (MLA) is partnering with Wilshire Funds Management for the MetLife Asset Allocation Program portfolios of Met Investors Series Trust, available primarily through MetLife Investors deferred variable annuities.

A news release said MetLife Advisers, LLC is the manager of the MAAP portfolios. According to the announcement, MAAP comprises five risk-based asset allocation portfolios from which MetLife Investors clients can choose.

Each of the five portfolios was designed for a specific type of investor, with particular investment objectives, retirement time horizon and risk tolerance. Wilshire Funds Management consults with MLA, as manager of the MAAP Portfolios, by providing information regarding the capital markets in general, trends in asset allocation, and specialized risk and fund analytics at the asset allocation portfolio level, the announcement said.

O’Shaughnessy Joins Arnerich Massena

Portland, Oregon-based Arnerich Massena&Associates, Inc., brought on Jacob O’Shaughnessy to its institutional client group.

He will also be a member of Arnerich Massena’s Investment Committee, according to a news release.

O’Shaughnessy’s experience includes providing consulting services to both corporate and public defined benefit and defined contribution plans, foundations, endowments, and non-pension operating plans. Prior to joining Arnerich Massena, O’Shaughnessy was with R.V. Kuhns & Associates, Inc., and has also worked with the Shinsei Bank Investment Banking Group and Willamette Securities.
