Mesirow Names New Investment Director

David H. Dermenjian has been promoted to managing director of the investment advisory group at Mesirow Financial.

Dermenjian designs and implements asset-allocation investment programs for public and private corporations, public-sector entities, high-net-worth individuals and nonprofits. He consults with clients on their financial needs, including retirement planning and income protection. He also works with corporate clients that sponsor qualified services to develop and maintain their fiduciary process specializing in manager analysis and the creation of asset-allocation models.

Dermenjian joined Mesirow in 2002, and has more than 10 years of experience in financial services. He previously traded options and futures at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Dermenjian is an accredited investment fiduciary (AIF) and a registered player financial adviser with the National Football League Players Association (NFLPA). He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
