Merrill Revamps Retirement Web Site

Merrill Lynch has revamped its retirement Web site and has kicked off a month of national, Web-based promotions to draw attention to it.

The Web site – www.totalmerrill.com/retirement — offers a free retirement income analysis from a Merrill Lynch financial adviser to help individuals define the retirement lifestyle they want and determine the steps needed to achieve it.

The Web site also features content from Merrill’s first, “Forum on the Future,” held in June, its 2005 and 2006 New Retirement Research Studies, along with stories of Merrill Lynch clients.

The 2007 “Forum on the Future” included a panel of financial, public policy and other experts discussing the broad demographic and personal impacts of a changing retirement landscape. Speakers included Merrill Lynch Vice Chairman Harold Ford, Jr.; investment expert, author and finance professor at the Wharton School, Jeremy Siegel; and Jeri Sedlar, senior advisor to the Conference Board on mature workforce issues.
