Mercer Names Retirement Business Leader for Pacific Southwest
Shams Talib has joined Mercer’s retirement, risk, and finance business as market business leader for the Pacific Southwest.

Based in Los Angeles, Talib will be responsible for the performance of the firm’s retirement-related business within the geographic market and will serve as a retirement consultant to some of Mercer’s largest clients, the firm said. As part of his role, Talib will serve on Mercer’s US Retirement Operating Committee and the Pacific Southwest leadership team.
Prior to joining Mercer, Talib served as principal in the Los Angeles office of Towers Perrin. He began his consulting career at Hewitt Associates in Toronto.
