Ascensus Releases EGTRRA-Compliant Documents

Ascensus updated its Plan Adoption System (PAS) to provide plan documents that are compliant with the Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act.

PAS is an Internet-based document generation system, and Ascensus updates the system’s compliance content and revises all affected documents as new legislation is passed, according to a release.

The system ensures that all required documents and future amendments are properly sent to employers. PAS contains a data extract feature that allows for integration into recordkeeping systems, Ascensus said.

Qualified retirement plans generally must be restated for EGTRRA by March 31, 2010.
