JPMAM Continues to Expand Fixed Income Team

J.P. Morgan Asset Management announced that Anthony Gould will join the New York/London/Asia Global Fixed Income team as a Senior Client Portfolio Manager.

In this position, he will help to lead the team’s effort to expand growth in Long Duration Fixed Income strategies and assets.    

Gould joins J.P. Morgan Asset Management from Barclays Capital, where he was most recently the Head of Marketing and Strategy for BCFS Americas, the institutional asset management group within Barclays Capital.  Prior to this, he was head of Barclays Capital’s Pension Solutions Group, where he advised institutions on asset allocation, risk management, LDI strategies, and alternative portfolio strategies. He joined Barclays Capital from Lehman Brothers where he worked in Pension Solutions and as a senior strategist in the Quantitative Portfolio Strategy Group.

Prior to joining Lehman Brothers in 2003, Gould spent more than 15 years as a global fixed income portfolio manager with Franklin Templeton Institutional and Barclays (BZW Investment Management). He started his career trading Gilts for JP Morgan in London. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst Association.    

New York/London/Asia Global Fixed Income team manages over $113.5 billion in fixed income assets and $18.2 billion in currency assets as of June 30, 2011.
