IRS 403(b) Expert Scheduled for Upcoming Webinar

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) official who has become the tax agency’s public face on the 403(b) regulations is scheduled to appear in a December 4 IRS Webinar.

According to the agency, Robert J. (Bob) Architect, senior tax law specialist, Employee Plans, will answer questions about the IRS’s recent comprehensive regulatory update governing the 403(b) space.

The session will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern.

Architect helped craft the comprehensive regulations covering sweeping changes in the 403(b) space dealing with issues such as the need for a formal plan document and how plan sponsors will be mandated to keep careful track of plan assets and the activities of fund providers.
