IRI Updates “Annuity Fact Book”

The Insured Retirement Institute (IRI) has published a new version of their retirement-planning resource for financial advisers.

According to the press release, the “2010 Annuity Fact Book” has the following improvements: 

  • The role of annuities in estate planning;  
  • More data on fixed annuities;  
  • New product information;  
  • GMDB and GMLB updates;  
  • Listing of all federal and state bills/proposals to increase access to lifetime income;  
  • Findings from new IRI research on boomers nearing retirement;  
  • Demographics of a typical annuity owner. 

The book can be purchased for $150 on the IRI Web site.
