HIMCO Bulks Up Institutional Team

David Love has been named an institutional sales representative covering the Western region and Maureen Decker a consultant relations manager at Hartford Investment Management Company (HIMCO).

Love, a senior vice president, was most recently a managing director at Advent Capital Management, leading West Coast marketing and business development. Before that, he was a vice president of institutional business development at PIMCO, a director at Treesdale Partners in New York, and an assistant vice president of sales and structuring at Winklevoss Consultants in Greenwich, Connecticut. He began his career as a marketing associate at Merrill Lynch in Canada. Love holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Calgary. He will be based in San Francisco.

Decker, also a senior vice president, was previously a managing director and head of business development at FAMCO in St. Louis, where she led a team responsible for consultant relations, institutional and retail sales, and marketing. She has also served as senior director of consultant relations at Invesco, as vice president and senior client service officer at Deutsche Asset Management, and as associate consultant at Evaluation Associates. She began her career at Pratt & Whitney as a financial analyst and later as a technical data analyst. Decker holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Eastern Connecticut State University and a master’s of business administration from the University of Connecticut. She will be based in Hartford, Connecticut.
