Guardian Adds Field Director of Retirement Plan Sales

Michael Reis, the new appointee, brings 14 years of experience in both the financial and business management sectors from ADP. In his new role, he will support Guardian Retirement Solutions’ 401(k) national sales team as it expands in the small-plan market. Reis most recently served as vice president and national sales manager of ADP’s adviser channel, where he helped create ADP’s new adviser strategy and led a team of external wholesalers and internal channel managers. Reis will report to Stephen Davis, national sales manager of Guardian Retirement Solutions. 

Davis says, “We are very excited to have Mike on board as our new field director of retirement plan sales, to support our sales force as we reach across the RIA [registered investment adviser], broker/dealer and the benefit broker segments. Mike will coach, train and improve our sales team and then take that training out to our key distribution partners. Throughout his career, Mike has successfully helped financial professionals grow their practice while working closely with wholesalers, wirehouses and broker/dealers. Mike’s experience will be a great asset as Guardian continues to solidify our position as the country’s go-to provider of group retirement products in the micro- to small-plan market.”

Reis received his B.S. in management science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He holds NASD Series 7, 63, 66 and 26 licenses, and is also CRPC, ARPC and CRPS certified.
