Glenmede Appoints Mucciarone Director of Wealth Services

Glenmede, a privately-held and independent investment and wealth management firm, has announced that Susan P. Mucciarone has joined as Senior Vice President and Director of Wealth Services.

In her new role, Mucciarone will oversee the wealth management services for high-net-worth, ultra-high-net-worth and family office clientele. Until recently, she served as the Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director of Wells Fargo’s east coast Family Wealth business. Prior to this role, she was the Managing Director of the Calibre family office, a former unit of Wachovia. She joins the firm with nearly three decades of industry experience and management in areas including high-net-worth asset management, alternative investments, mergers & acquisitions, and sales.

Mucciarone succeeds Warren Reintzel, Director of Relationship Management and Administration, who, following 25 years of service with Glenmede, will retire at year-end.

Mucciarone, who was also named a member of the company’s Management Committee, is the latest in a series of strategic hires, “demonstrating the firm’s commitment to deepening its wealth advisory platform while simultaneously reinforcing Glenmede as a preferred destination for top industry talent,” according to a press release.  Mucciarone will work from the company’s Philadelphia office, reporting to Chip Wilson, Executive Vice President and Director of Client Services.

“Susan’s arrival reaffirms our commitment to providing an unparalleled client service experience nationwide,” said Glenmede’s Wilson.  “We are thrilled she has joined our team, and greatly value her significant management expertise and industry knowledge.”
