Garrett Planning Network Selects IPS AdvisorPro for IPS Platform
The IPS AdvisorPro investment policy statement (IPS) technology platform will be available on a preferred basis to Garrett Planning Network's 300 financial advisers, a release said.

Sheryl Garrett, Garrett Planning Network’s founder, said the company was searching for an easy and comprehensive technology platform for its advisers to use to produce investment policy statements. The release noted the importance of the statements in today’s volatile marketplace in order to educate investors about the ups and downs of the markets, risk tolerance, and what to expect over time—resulting in few phone calls later.
Details of the partnership between Garrett and IPS AdvisorPro include preferred pricing for Garrett Planning Network financial advisors, custom training sessions, ongoing educational communications, and access to the best practices of financial advisers who use an IPS as the foundation for their investing and financial planning process.
The Garrett Planning Network is an international network of independent financial advisers and planners who offer hourly as needed financial planning and advice to anyone regardless of income or net worth, according to the release.
