Evercore Appoints Szekely VP, Financial Adviser
Jordan Szekely was named vice president and financial adviser
at Evercore Wealth Management LLC.

Szekely joins Evercore Wealth Management from Goldman Sachs, where he served as a wealth adviser to high-net-worth individuals, families and foundations. Previously, he worked in corporate and business development at Focus Financial Partners, and as a private equity professional at Veronis Suhler Stevenson and at TA Associates, sourcing, executing and monitoring private equity and mezzanine investments. He began his career in 1999 as a mergers and acquisition specialist at Lehman Brothers.
Szekely will be based at the New York headquarters of Evercore Wealth Management. He will report to Wendy Barasch, partner and head of sales and marketing.
He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received a bachelor’s degree in economics and psychology, and of the Columbia Graduate School of Business, where he received a master’s of business administration in finance within the Value Investing Program.
