EBSA Unveils Online ERISA Exemption Index
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) has launched an online index for locating individual exemptions granted under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA).
The new index lets users search by subject matter for individual exemptions granted from 1996 through 2010.
For example, the index catalogues exemptions relating to captive reinsurance, co-investing, collateralized mortgage obligations, leases, and in-kind contributions.
The online index is at http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/regs/masterindex.html and will be periodically updated.
