EBSA Schedules June EFAST2 Webcast
Sponsors and plan service providers with questions about the U.S. Department of Labor’s ERISA Filing Acceptance System (EFAST2) can listen to an upcoming Webcast to get some answers.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
The session on June 3 is the latest in a series by the Labor Department’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) about the electronic filing system as well as the 2009 Form 5500 and the agency’s e-signature options. The agency began requiring all Form 5500s to be filed electronically starting with the 2009 plan year filing.
The session will include questions and answers based on the most frequently posed inquiries the agency has already received from filers and the public, as well as a list of agency filing tips.
The Webcast is scheduled to take place from 1 to 3 p.m. Registration is required at www.dol.gov/ebsa/newsroom/webcasts.html. More information is available by calling 202.693.8660.
