Allianz Appoints New SVP of Sales

Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life) has named Bob Densmore as senior vice president - national sales manager. 

In this role, Densmore will lead Allianz annuity sales strategy through the independent, bank, regional and wire broker/dealer distribution channels.

According to the announcement, Densmore brings more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry. He began his career as a financial advisor with Thrivent Financial. In 1996, he joined Jackson National as a brokerage manager responsible for wholesaling fixed and index annuities. As a regional vice president for Jackson, he raised more than two billion dollars in variable annuity premium, according to a press release.

He has held several leadership roles while being a top producer, including Chairman of the Leadership Council where he helped develop variable annuities, living benefits, sales strategies and marketing campaigns. He joined Allianz Life in 2008 as a district director for the Midwest District.
