Acadian Expands Team for Long/Short Equity Strategies
Alexandre Voitenok joined
Acadian Asset Management LLC as
senior vice president and portfolio manager.

Voitenok will be responsible both for researching long/short strategies and managing long/short portfolios. He will report to David Kane, director of the firm’s long/short equity strategies.
Previously, as a portfolio manager with Gartmore Investment Management in Boston, Voitenok co-managed the team’s long/short and long-only funds from 2006 to 2011. Before that he was a quantitative analyst with Gartmore in London, where he spearheaded the design and implementation of various statistical data models. Voitenok holds a master’s in software engineering from Minsk Radio Engineering Institute in Belarus.
