Ron Cohen to Head Wells Fargo DCIO and RIA Sales

Ron Cohen has joined Wells Fargo Funds Management LLC as head of sales for the defined contribution investment only and registered investment adviser channels.

Wells Fargo Funds Management serves as the adviser to the Wells Fargo Advantage Funds, among other functions. The firm says it will leverage Cohen’s sales leadership skills and expertise in the defined contribution investment only (DCIO) and registered investment adviser (RIA) spaces to “help us make even deeper inroads into two of the industry’s fastest-growing market segments.”

Most recently, Cohen worked as executive director of J.P. Morgan’s national accounts team for defined contribution investment services. Beyond that role, Cohen has more than 20 years of experience in the asset management industry. Prior to J.P. Morgan, he ran the bundled retirement business at DWS Investments, a part of Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, and built out the DCIO practice at DB Advisors.
