Nationwide Expands Sales Team in East

The new wholesalers are Josh Cesare and Johannes Gerz-Escandón.

Cesare has been selected as the regional vice president for a new territory that covers southern Virginia and northern North Carolina. Based in Richmond, Virginia, he will oversee all sales activities in the territory. Cesare previously served as a field service representative for Nationwide, working with plan sponsors and participants to improve plan engagement and health.

Gerz-Escandón is responsible for managing private-sector sales for the existing Georgia and eastern Tennessee territory. He joins Nationwide having previously worked in external retirement plan sales at Wells Fargo and John Hancock.
