Nationwide Funds Group Expands Sales Team

The new wholesalers will support financial advisers in all distribution channels to drive retail sales growth.

Blackwill serve as a regional vice president for Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Black has spent the past 19 years helping financial advisers build client relationships and expand their businesses. He joins Nationwide from Putnam Investments, where he was a regional marketing director. Black holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Ohio State University. He is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA).

Cohenwill serve as a regional vice president for New York City and Long Island. Before joining Nationwide, he was a regional sales director for Fifth Third Asset Management, where he focused on the distribution of separately managed accounts and mutual fund products. Cohen holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Arizona State University.

Finchwill serve as the divisional vice president for the West Coast, where he will lead a team of mutual fund wholesalers. Finch has worked in the financial services industry since 1995, and joined Nationwide from John Hancock, where he was a senior vice president. He completed the Securities Industry Institute program at the Wharton School of Business in 2009.

Jagdeo will serve the Michigan territory as a regional vice president. Jagdeo joins Nationwide from Alliance Bernstein, where he was a top wholesaler. Jagdeo holds a bachelor’s degree from Richard Stockton College and a master’s degree in finance from Rider University. He also holds a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation and is a member of IMCA.

Westwill serve as a regional vice president for Philadelphia, New Jersey and Delaware. He is a distribution and relationship leader with more than 20 years of experience distributing separately managed accounts, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and alternative investment products. He was previously with Salient Partners, where he worked as a regional vice president. West is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College, and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF).
