DOL Offers Resources for Participants About Fees
The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Employee Benefits
Security Administration (EBSA) has resources for participants to learn about
plan fees.
Reported by Rebecca Moore
On its “Understanding Your Retirement Plan Fees” page, the agency links to webcasts, videos, FAQs and other presentations about retirement plan fees and fee disclosures.
One publication describes some of the key information participants receive in fee disclosures from plan sponsors and provides tips on using this information in evaluating investment choices in the plan.
The EBSA’s “Understanding Your Retirement Plan Fees” website is at http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/publications/understandingretirementfees.html.
