Lyxor Hires Hedge Fund Research Head

Frank Frecentese has joined Lyxor Asset Management’s New York office as the deputy head of hedge fund research. 

Frecentese comes to Lyxor from Citi Private Bank. He was managing director, global head of hedge fund investments and oversaw the hedge fund investments business for Citi, with particular emphasis on sourcing, diligence and monitoring of hedge fund investments for advisory portfolios and placement businesses.

Before joining Citigroup, Frecentese was an executive director at Morgan Stanley, where he was the head of alternatives research for Graystone Research. Frecentese performed manager research globally on hedge funds and private equity funds, and managed bespoke advisory hedge fund portfolios for the firm’s ultra-high-net worth clients.

Before Graystone, he worked on the European hedge fund desk at Goldman Sachs and practiced law with Stroock & Stroock & Lavan.

Frecentese was awarded a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, by Fordham University. He holds a master’s of business administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a juris doctorate from New York University School of Law.
