EBSA to Host Retirement Workshop for Women

The Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) is co-sponsoring a Webcast on April 12 to help women with retirement planning issues.

The Webcast has been designed for women who are about 10 to 15 years from retirement. The purpose is to help them figure out if they are on track for a secure retirement and find ways to fill savings gaps. It will provide tools and information for women of all ages who have questions about retirement planning.

The sponsors will discuss how to make the most of savings opportunities at work and how to make savings last over a possibly long retirement. The Webcast will also highlight issues that can make retirement planning more difficult for women, including widowhood and divorce.
