Mercer Names Global DC Consulting Leader

Mercer has appointed Dallas-based consultant Julie Humphries as the Global Defined Contribution (DC) Consulting Leader.

Humphries will lead the continuing global development and deployment of Mercer’s DC consulting services and intellectual capital, as well as develop and lead business and sales teams, Mercer announced. She also will become a member of Mercer’s Retirement, Risk and Finance (RRF) Global Management Team and will report to Simon O’Regan, Global Leader of Mercer’s RRF business, and Asghar Alam, Global Leader of Mercer’s Investment Consulting business.   

Humphries most recently served as Mercer’s RRF Market Business Leader in the U.S. Southwest and Southeast regions; she will retain this position until a successor is appointed.

Humphries began her career at Mercer in 1990 and rejoined the firm in 2007 from Bank of America, where she held a variety of positions. She holds a Bachelor of Education from University of Georgia and a Master of Arts degree from Georgia State University.   

She also is an Associate in the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
