Gallagher Makes Another Acquisition

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired Old Greenwich Consulting Group based in New York, after acquiring Benefits Unlimited in early August.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm, headquartered in Itasca, Illinois, has added Old Greenwich Consulting Group, which specializes in the design, service, and implementation of employee benefit programs, to its business, according to an announcement. 

Old Greenwich Consulting Group offers employee benefit consulting and brokerage services, including life insurance and group benefits, for its middle-market clients in the Eastern United States.

CEO of Old Greenwich, Michael Johnson, along with his associates, will continue to operate in New York City under the direction of David Ziegler, Eastern Regional Executive Vice President of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations. The release said terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
